Funny, I use all this stuff as much as any of the millenials--I am in my 60th year. I do not think that it has had a profound impact on my cognition or my sense of self, but the truth is, one never knows such things. I sometimes watch my stepdaughter Caitlin write a paper on her laptop, hold IM conversations, exchange text messages and talk on the phone, all at once.
